Jacques Jarrige

Born in Paris in 1962.
After studying Archhitecture, Jacques Jarrige is not satisfied with drawing plans. He embarks on the work itself, sculpting wood and bending metal.
His expression in downstrokes and upstrokes, in bumps ans holes, calls to mind basic shapes enhanced by sophisticated final touches: gold leaves, sanding, precious wood. His lamps, objects, pieces of furniture are sought after by many French and foreign collectors. Cat-Berro and Jacques Jarrige are preparing an exhibition for September, with original pieces.
